Feature extraction from image data
Uher, Václav ; Beneš, Radek (referee) ; Burget, Radim (advisor)
Image processing is one area of signal analysis. This thesis is involved in feature extraction from image data and its implementation using Java programming language. The main contribution of this thesis lies in develop features extractors and their implementation in the program RapidMiner. The result is a robust tool for image analysis. The functionality of each operator is tested on mammogram images. A function model was developed for the removal of artifacts from the mammography images. The success rate of removal is comparable with other similar works. Furthermore, learning algorithms were compared on example detection of ventricle in ultrasound image.
Data Mining in Social Networks
Raška, Jiří ; Očenášek, Pavel (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
This thesis deals with knowledge discovery from social media. This thesis is focused on feature based opinion mining from user reviews. In theoretical part were described methods of opinion mining and natural language processing. Main parts of this thesis were design and implementation of library for opinion mining based on Stanford Parser and lexicon WordNet. For feature identi cation was used dependency grammar, implicit features were mined with method CoAR and opinions were classi ed with supervised algorithm. Finally were given experiments with implemented library and examples of usage.
Algorithm for Product Recommendation
Bodeček, Miroslav ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Zendulka, Jaroslav (advisor)
The goal of this project is to explore the problem of product recommendations in the area of e-commerce and to evaluate known techniques, design product recommendation system for an existing e-commerce site, implement it and test it. This report introduces the problem, briefly examines current state of affairs in this area and defines requirements for a product recommendation module. The concept of data mining in general is introduced. The report proceeds to present detailed design corresponding to defined requirements and summarizes data gathered during testing phase. It concludes with evaluation and with discussion of the remaining goals for this thesis.
Multidimensional Data Analysis and Analytic View Processing
Foltýnová, Veronika ; Burget, Radim (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
This thesis deals with the analysis and display of multidimensional data. In the theoretical part, the issue of data mining, its tasks and techniques, and a brief explanation of the terms Business Intelligence and data warehouse are presented. The issue of databases is also described in this thesis. Subsequently, the options for displaying multidimensional data are described. At the end of the theoretical part is briefly explained the problems of optical networks and especially the terms Gigabit passive optical network and its frame, because the data from the frames of this network will be displayed by an application. In the practical part, you can find creating a source database and an application to create a OLAP cube and display multidimensional data. This application is based on the theoretical knowledge of multidimensional databases and OLAP technology.
Analysis and Structure Recommendations for E-commerce Site Optimization
Bureš, Petr ; Hudák, Michal (referee) ; Dydowicz, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor‘s thesis focuses on analysis of optimization of e-commerce website. The aim of this work is to outline the optimization solutions from different point of views including online marketing, information architecture, web analytics and other weak points identified by the analysis. Several approaches of methodology will be used to support the analysis, such as data mining analysis of a shopping basket integrated within e-commerce website. The economic benefits of the final optimisation solutions will be assessed and the recommendations will be set out.
Mining Multiple Level Association Rules
Nguyenová, Thanh Lam ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with multiple level association rules mining. The aim of this work is to focus on available algorithms for mining multiple level association rules and to implement an application with a graphical user interface that will demonstrate the functionality of these algorithms. Five algorithms based on the Apriori algorithm were chosen. Experiments with each algorithm were performed using the application and the results were compared and evaluated at the end of the thesis.
Methods of Social Network Analysis for Data Mining
Machulka, Tomáš ; Rozman, Jaroslav (referee) ; Samek, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes some of many methods for social network analysis. There is also a description of the data visualization. The thesis contains description of implementation of aplication for social network analysis using several methods. Output of analysis is confronted with output of other software for social network analysis.
Creation of New Prediction Units in Data Mining System on NetBeans Platform
Havlíček, David ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Lukáš, Roman (advisor)
The issue of this master's thesis is a creation of new prediction unit for existing system of knowledge discovery in database. The first part of project deal with general problems of knowledge discovery in database and predictive analysis. The second part of the project deal with system developed on FIT, for which is module implemented, used technologies, concept and implementation of mining module for this system. The solution is implemented in Java language and is a built on the NetBeans platform.
Methods for Clustering Data
Pohlídal, Antonín ; Burgetová, Ivana (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with hierarchical clustering methods with a focus on implementation of agglomerative hierarchical clustering method and its comparison with the DENCLUE method. First of all, various methods are described with emphasis on hierarchical clustering methods. Further, there is an implementation of the selected method, using the Java programming language and MySQL database. The last part contains a comparison with the implementation of DENCLUE method, implemented by Mr. Bc. Radim Kapavík.
Software for Detecting, Analysing and Correcting of Conflict Orders in CRM
Bažant, Milan ; Stojanov, Marek (referee) ; Koch, Miloš (advisor)
The master's thesis focuses on the creation of the automatic error cleansing software which clears the errors generated by the ordering system. Based on the error analysis (e.g. their causes and possibilities of their correction) the software enables the automatic error correction without the necessity of any manual action resulting in minimal delay of customers’ orders.
